GLASTONBURY, CONN – On August 28th the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting for the Jordan Porco Foundation. The Chamber recently teamed up with the Jordan Porco Foundation for their Bids, Bites & Beer Fundraising Auction. An evening which will feature a locally sourced dinner (with ingredients from Glastonbury’s Killam Bassette Farm), craft beer & wine tastings and live & silent auctions.

“The Jordan Porco Foundation is a 501(c) (3) public charity. Their mission is to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for young adults. They accomplish this by providing engaging and uplifting peer-run programs on college campuses. Their programs strive to start a conversation about mental health that reduces stigma while encouraging help-seeking and supportive behaviors.”
