#GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

Join the Jordan Porco Foundation as we celebrate #GivingTuesday! This year we are highlighting 4 ways you can give and help us make a difference.

GIVE HOPE

One of the simplest and most important ways we can give is to offer hope to those who are struggling emotionally.

Give Hope by:

  • Spreading the word about our Mission
  • Raising awareness about our cause: mental health and suicide
  • Becoming knowledgeable of warning signs and available resources
  • Having real, open, honest conversations about mental health. We all have it. We should all talk about it.

GIVE DOLLARS

Financial contributions large and small from our generous donors are vital to keeping our programs running so that we can save more lives. As our reach continues to grow, so does our financial need.

Double Your Give

Our Board of Directors has agreed to match up to $5000 of donations generated through our #GivingTuesday Fundraising Page. Please consider making a donation and sharing our fundraising page with your networks to help us reach that $5000 goal. Your tax-deductible donation will help us bring our programs to more students and save more lives.

GIVE TIME

We may not all be in a position to make a financial donation this year, but we may be able to donate our time.

The Jordan Porco Foundation is in need of passionate, enthusiastic, hard-working, reliable volunteers. Learn more about our volunteer opportunities, here.

GIVE BACK

Our staff will be giving back this year by collecting new art supplies (colored pencils, crayons, etc.) to donate to adult units of psychiatric hospitals across the state of Connecticut.

What to help us Give Back? Drop off a donation of art supplies at our office before December 1st. We are located at 225 Asylum Street, 12th Floor in Hartford, CT. You can also e-mail iyoung@jordanporcofoundation.org.
