My Friend Abby – 10/13/18
Saturday October 13, 2018 Please join us from 1pm-5pm for lunch and music at Joey C’s Boathouse in Stratford, CT, to honor the life of Abby Anderson – #38 – Live a happy life, benefitting the Jordan Porco Foundation’s lifesaving programs.
Abby was a ray of sunshine to everyone who met her. What many could not see behind her smile was that she was struggling with clinical depression and ultimately died by suicide. Before her death, Abby wrote a list of hopes and aspirations for herself, including:
# 37 – Help others in a big way
#38 – Live a happy life
Many young people struggle like Abby, but there is hope and help available. Abby’s story inspires us to keep living by creating a culture that cares to help prevent suicide in others.
Together, My Friend Abby and the Jordan Porco Foundation are preventing suicide, promoting mental health, and creating a message of hope for young adults. Together, we’re in it for life. Get tickets at this link, https://www.eventbrite.com/e/my-friend-abby-tickets-48930216595.
