Bids, Bites & Beer – 9/13/18
Thursday September 13, 2018 The Connecticut River Valley Chamber will host their second annual Bids, Bites & Beer event at the Holiday Inn Hartford Downtown. The evening will feature silent and live auctions, craft beer, wine & spirits, along with locally sourced food pairings. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Jordan Porco Foundation’s suicide prevention programs. Get tickets online, here.
Ride for Gage – 9/15/18
September 15, 2018 – Along with TSI Harley-Davidson, the Jordan Porco Foundation and the Elks Lodge will host our second annual ‘Ride for Gage’ motorcycle ride that starts at TSI Harley-Davidson in Ellington, CT and ends at the Elk’s Lodge (Rockville).
We ride to honor the adventurous spirit of Gage Rondeau who died by suicide in 2016. All are welcome, riders or not.
Proceeds will benefit the lifesaving suicide prevention programs of the Jordan Porco Foundation.

It’s a day at the park cheering on the Hartford Yard Goats vs. the Trenton Thunder, served-up with all-you-can-eat ice cream from various local ice cream vendors. Suicide The Ripple Effect – 5/14/18
Monday May 14, 2018 Get your tickets to watch the Suicide The Ripple Effect documentary at Spotlight Theatres, 39 Front Street, Hartford, CT, 6:30pm. We are bringing you this documentary in partnership with the Connecticut Suicide Advisory Board. Parental guidance is recommended for this feature film about Kevin Hines’s surviving his suicide attempt, the ripple effect suicide has on individuals and communities, and ultimately how his story is helping heal and I is cultivating hope for people all across the globe.
